Polling & Phone Calls & Charity

Has anybody out there in "Blog LAND" been called 252 times in the past month? Have the calls been from pollster? Is it legal for these pollster to call you even if you're on the national do not call registry? I need answers! I need the truth, and unlike Tom Cruise, I can handle the truth (It's from a movie Megan). I think I must have signed up for a different list because I get calls from everybody and their mother. Back in what feels like the 1970's I gave about 10 bucks (75 cents in 2006 dollars) to a popular charity. I felt it was the right thing to do. However, since that time I have received about 3,700 mailers and 17,000 phone calls from this particular charity. Question? Where in Sam Hell do they get the money for that? And, Why don't they just leave it to me to donate again? Is there goal to guilt the shit out of me? Or, is it to piss me off so much that I hurt someone? I would really like to know. I know I asked about 42 questions but I would like an answer to just this...... Does anybody in "Blog LAND" like all aspects of their job? Please Help!!!

Dems or Reps

I want to hear from anyone who is going to vote republican in a couple of weeks, and I have to tell you, "Are you fucking MAD!" Someone very important to me once told me that everyone should have balance in their lives. WTF kind of balance do we get from a Republican White House, Senate, and House? Are we crazy? The people in power shouldn't be able to push their agenda through without any meaningful debate. That's very un-democratic. I guess more than half of America is (crazy and undemocratic) after that debacle in 2004. 52% voted for Bush. Holy shit I did not know that there were that many people in America with learning disabilities. I voted for the SOB in 2000 but I thought I had corrected my mistake in 2004. I guess it's fashionable to lie again, to send young boys to war based on false premises and oh yeah, to do coke (even if it was 35 years ago). Slick willy took shit for three years for puffin the cheeba. What is wrong with our system if a person like Dubya can get re-elected? Question; How many US Soldiers would be alive today, if not for the notorious "Hanging Chad?" 25 Damn electoral votes from a state he won by 537 votes (damn recount, damn Jeb Bush, damn Supreme Court)? Note to Al Gore: Next time, just try and win your own fuckin' state. Peace Out!

Gun CONTROL

I am interested in getting some feedback from the anti-gun, pro registration , I must have a waiting period, leftist liberals who think that guns are the enemy. Saying that guns kill people because it was the gun that actually did the killing is like saying, it was the car not the idiot driving who just so happened to blow a stop sign and a 2.3 BAC. Guns believe it or not are part of our history and our society. They aren't going anywhere. Guns don't kill people, cars don't kill people, no no no. PEOPLE kill PEOPLE! Plain and simple. I remember back in the late 90's when I was driving back from DC and at 2am when I jumped off the highway, I was approached by a man. All I can say is, "thank you framers for that little 27 word amendment. The second amendment! I was approached by this man as I stood by my car (I had to get off the highway to relieve myself after my second bottle of Jolt). I warned him to stop and he kept approaching. I gave him one final warning and then pulled out my gun (YES, I was strapped) and he then turned around and began to run. Whose to say, but I believe in my heart that the gun saved my life. It is something that you would rather have and not need then need and not have. Besides, I'd rather be judged by 12 then carried by six. So all of you candyass, lilylivered, bleeding heart liberals, don't knock it until you've tried it. I invite all of you to go to the range and blow off a few (hundred) rounds. There's nothing like it save for sex. I bet you that if you were in my situation, you would've been thrilled that you had something to defend yourself with besided the New York Times editorial on gun control. I dare you to respond.

Alex "I'm Smart" Trebek

What the fuck is Alex Trebek's problem? Can somebody please tell me? Why does he proceed to correct people show after show after show. Hey Alex, the American people could give two shits if you know some trivia (30+ years on a trivia show, you're bound to remember something). He is soooo condescending as well. I can hear him now, "Ooh no, I'm sorry, The correct answer is Ulysses by James Joyce." Then he would tell us, like we give a shit, "don't you remember? Joyce wrote that in such in such a year and what he really meant in that writing was......" Like you read that and understood it, right Trebek. You're a condescending little man and you're from Canada. That's two strikes not to mention the other skeletons in your cedar walk-in closet. After listening and watching jeopardy for the past ten years, you would think that Trebek has read every book ever written. He is a legend in his own mind who plays it off like he knows fucking everything. I wish on Ken Jennings (remember the Mormon who won like 74 straight days) last show he would've challenged Ol'e Alex to a duel. But Alex probably would have just ignored it, then proceed to give us a trivial history on Aaron Burr. What a dick!

Madonna

Could someone please tell me why these human rights, women's rights, babies rights activists groups are up in arms because Madonna circumvented the system and adopted an African baby. Does anybody really have a problem with any multi-millionaire adopting a baby? I'm mean really? So what if Madonna used her fame to adopt a baby and proceeded to take it out of Africa for whatever reason. I'm sure the baby would've been better off in Africa. There's no diseases there or anything. Right? Wrong!!! If that baby was adopted by an African family and stayed in Africa it would have been exposed to malaria, aids and not to mention the scores of other communicable diseases rampant on that continent. Also, I would be remiss if I didn't mention the infrastructure in Africa that handles power and water. Yeah right, I'm sure the baby would've been better off. Hey Madonna, how about you adopt me and we'll call it even.

Tag - You're IT!

I have become somewhat of a bloggomaniac in the past week thanks in large part to my friend Megan the pacifist. Saturday night, I spent about three hours (no wonder she doesn't have a t.v.) sifting through blog after blog commenting on everything from politics to professional wrestling. On just about every site, I saw something referred to as a "TAG". It was pretty interesting to see what people think personally. As I looked at page after page of endless tags (some were the same) I came to the conclusion that, "I FEEL LEFT OUT." So, if anyone reads my blog, even though my circulation is pitifully low, I would appreciate getting F---- in TAGGED! OK, that is my venting for the night. Before I go, I just want to give a shout out to my dear friend Steve (A Yom Kippur War Baby), Happy Belated Birthday buddy. Peace out!

I'm ME!

I have recently been told by a colleague of mine that I am a bit abrasive. I really can't help my bull in a china shop mentality, and I don't really try to come off like that. However, is there anything wrong with letting someone, anyone, know what's on your mind. I am not someone who hides things real well (unless I'm hunting for turkeys), especially my emotions. If you're pissing me off, you'll know it. If I like you, you'll know it. If I want to punch you in the face, you'll know it. So what the problem is? So what if I like arguing at the drop of a hat. I wear my emotions on my sleeve for everyone to see, so if you have a problem with that, then walk away from me. Sweet rhyme, huh Meg.

What's the story?

What the hell is wrong with the NFL?
How can a guy step on another man's head and receive a 5 game suspension. If that same man would have accomplished this feat on the streets, he would have been sentenced to perhaps 5 years in prison (more if he went American History X on his ass). So tell me Feel's, What do you think about violence in sports and what it is doing to our youth? Please respond and don't hold anything back. By the way, I'm watching the Dodgers game while I BLOG!

What do you think of Congress?

For my first posting ever, I just wanted to see if I could get some feedback from somebody. I figured this would be an easy one for anybody with a pulse to respond to. In fact, if you are able to sit up an take nourishment, you should be able to reply to this one.
Personally, I like about 1/10th of 1% of Congress in general and for the people out there that did not study at MIT, it's about one 1/2 of a man or woman. Well, hopefully you add some interesting insight to this brand new, hot off the press, all balls, no quit site.
Thanks in advance,
The RONIN
